MMG Meetings

I was really pumped to get to meet my Master Mind Group at the beginning of the semester. I was even more excited when I found out who was in it: Madelyn Harvey, Henry Newell, and Sophia Fisher. So far, working with this group has been highly enjoyable and we are continuing to meet to do less-schoolish things. Below I will give a recap of what we talked about/learned at each meeting!

9/23/19

The hot topic of this meeting was our c4s. We went through the process, making sure we understood the process and asked each other questions. Madelyn talked about her podcast idea and Sophia shared her elevator image. We were able to give her feedback regarding it. We somehow got on the topic of my Uganda trip in December.

I can't seem to have a conversation that doesn't involve the Enneagram, so this was a heavily discussed topic during this meeting. Madelyn is also into the Enneagram and we probably could've talked for hours about it. But instead, we switched the conversation to how stressed we were already and all that we had going on. Henry also broke down for us everything that needs to be included in our final portfolios. We also discussed how hour HBDI profiles compliment one another and put the finishing touches on our team charter.

10/14/19

I can't remember who, but during this meeting someone suggested that we start thinking about our Uncle Rube project, so we did. We each gave ourselves a couple of minutes to make our bug lists, but I can't do anything under pressure so I suggested that we have that ready to go for next meeting instead. However, we did come to the conclusion that we were going to narrow our bug lists down to only objects. Sophia had an interview during this meeting, so she wasn't able to make it, but we filled her in.

Each of us brought bug lists with around 20-30 "bugs." We put them all into one document and decided the most effective way to do this was to group and theme them. After this though, we decided that we wanted to meet with Friedman to see if he could help us narrow our list down to one bug.

11/4/19

During this meeting we talked about past meetings, but most of the focus was on the upcoming portfolio. We discussed progress and bounced ideas off of one another to improve. I received confirmation that this blog would be a good idea, since I love writing and started a personal blog.
