Personal Manifesto
I will live an intentional life. Believing that God gave me gifts and talents to use in a way that no one else has. I want to be so captivated with purpose that I no longer compare myself to everyone else, for I know that their calling is not my calling.
I will not spend another day doubting the person that God made me to be because He knows me by name. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I was created for such a time as this.
I acknowledge the fact that it’s okay to be afraid, but I still need to do it anyways. Fear will not hold me back from becoming the person I was made to be. I will no longer seek comfort, but growth. For comfort is it’s greatest enemy.
I will remember that growing pains are just a part of the process. Sometimes growing hurts, but it is necessary to live a life worthy of my calling.
I will be kind, for every person I come into contact with is someone who Jesus died for. I will recognize that everyone I meet is going through something that I know nothing about.
I will be grateful for the smallest things in life, someone’s time, a word of encouragement, the beauty of nature, and the love of family. Because at the end of the day, these are the big things.
Above all else, I will remember that “God can do more with my surrender than I can do with my control.” So today, I will surrender and live like I mean it.
